Meet Our Dedicated Director
Founder
Edith Nonhlanhla Mhlongo was born and bred in Vaal, in a location called Sebokeng. She is currently a resident of Rustenburg in North West, South Africa. She is a dedicated paramedic with over 2 decades of experience in the male-dominated emergency services industry. Her career has spanned various roles with major companies like Rustenburg EMRS, Netcare 911, and ER24. In 2006, Edith began her journey as a facilitator, training junior medics at Mankwe Ambulance College.
She later served as a Course Coordinator and subsequently as the Head of College at Bokone Bophirima Ambulance Training College. Despite facing significant challenges in these roles, she persevered and discovered her passion for writing and radio presenting. Edith has published two books: "An Extreme Desire of a Medic" in 2016 and "A Gentle Answer" in 2018.
Her career took a turn towards media when she became a Radio Presenter for Bojanala FM and later ventured into acting, featuring in two local films: "Tears, Love and Joy" and "The Thorn". She has also made significant contributions as an MC and Motivational Speaker at various events such as the African American Life History, International Women Business Summit, Celebration of Black Professionals and Business Breakfast Summit.
She was also appointed as the Director of Communication for the Chamber of Commerce for Women in Business. Adding to her diverse skill set, Edith serves as an editor for Thuba Pelo Mosadi Let’s Talk Magazine, further showcasing her versatility. Edith is a proud single mother to an amazing boy. Her life's journey has taught her that with faith and resilience, one can overcome any challenge. She encourages others to view life's obstacles not as curses but as opportunities for growth.
